This research is an ndependent study exploring the history of green roof and living wall systems

, construction techniques, materials, plantings and aintenances. Special Interviews with Lady Bird wildflower center allowed greater understanding of current research needs. Since the idea of the green wall has been rarely familiar to Austin still, the research goal is to carry forward this green idea and provide a research based proposal that could possibly be done in the future.
